Effective date: July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Script Payments LLC, doing business as ScriptPayments ("ScriptPayments," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information through our website at scriptpayments.com (the "Site") and our pharmacy workflow software (the "Service").
1. Scope and Our Role
Business customer and visitor information. This policy covers information about the people who visit our Site and about our business customers and their users. This includes pharmacies, clinics, and their staff.
Patient information. Our customers may use the Service to process prescription orders that contain protected health information ("PHI"). For that information, we act as a service provider (a "business associate" under HIPAA) to our customers. We handle PHI only according to our Business Associate Agreements and applicable law, not according to this policy. Patients should consult the privacy notice of their pharmacy or healthcare provider and contact that provider directly with privacy requests.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Contact and account information: name, business name, job title, email, phone number, business address, and login credentials.
- Professional and licensing information: pharmacy license numbers, NPI, and other identifiers needed to set up a pharmacy account.
- Billing information: billing contact and payment method details. Card and bank account numbers are collected and stored by our third-party payment processor, not by us.
- Communications: messages, support requests, and sales inquiries you send us.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent, and referring URLs.
- Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service.
- Create and manage accounts, and verify customer eligibility.
- Calculate fees, send invoices, and process payments for our services.
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service, including service and billing notices.
- Send product updates and marketing to business contacts. You can opt out at any time.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve the Site and the Service.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:
- With service providers that host, secure, support, or help operate the Service, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, and our payment processor. They may use it only to perform services for us.
- With third-party integrations you enable, such as shipping carriers, pharmacy management systems, and partner platforms, as needed to perform the integration.
- For legal reasons, when needed to comply with law or legal process, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate fraud.
- In a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. The information would remain subject to protections at least as strong as those in this policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
5. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. These include encryption in transit, access controls, and logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the Site and Service work.
7. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. PHI is retained and returned or destroyed as required by the applicable Business Associate Agreement.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may update your account information at any time, and you may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each email. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a request, contact us at support@scriptpayments.com. We will verify your identity before responding and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site and Service are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site.
10. International Users
The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. If the changes are material, we will also notify customers by email or through the Service.
